About Derek
Derek was born in Montreal, raised in Boston and moved to North Carolina, where he joined ATG as an MC. He has been DJing since before many of today’s prom guests were born, and he has kept people smiling and dancing with his own brand of charm ever since.
Derek is detail-oriented, friendly and outgoing, and he treats your event like the memory it is going to be: he helps you plan it, then runs it so you can be a guest at your own party.
He also trained in mobile entertainment through the Florida Academy of Mobile Entertainment. His ATG calendar has covered corporate events, private parties, school dances, proms and Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.
Like everyone on the ATG team, Derek plans your event with you ahead of time in our online planning portal.

What clients say about Derek
“…That kind of professionalism under pressure is rate, and it's what separates a good vendor from a great partner. This is our second year using ATG, and we plan to continue working with them. Highly recommend.”
“…This year, we worked with ATG Entertainment for the first time, and they absolutely exceeded expectations. Making a change after years of working with the same vendors can feel risky, but it was so worth it.…”
