Questions, answered.
The things families, schools and planners ask us most. Don’t see yours? Call 704-537-9300 or send a quick note.

Booking & planning
How far ahead should we book?
Bar and Bat Mitzvah families should reserve 1 to 3 years out. You know your date early, and the best entertainment books first. Proms book 1 to 2 years ahead, and corporate events as far ahead as you can. We can sometimes fit in last-minute events, so it never hurts to ask.
How do we get a quote?
Every event is custom. Send a Request Info form or call 704-537-9300, and after a quick call we’ll send our catalog and ideas for your date.
Do you plan the whole event?
We plan the entertainment side with you: the timeline, MC script, music, lighting, effects and screens. We aren’t a full-service event planner, and we work side by side with your planner and venue.
How do we plan the details with you?
You get access to our online planning portal for your timeline, music requests and special moments, and an event producer works through every detail with you.
Music & entertainment
Is the music clean?
Yes. Your event gets clean, edited music, just like every event we do, including adult events. If you want explicit music, we’re not the right company and we’ll gladly refer you to someone else.
Do you have party dancers, MCs and hype people?
Yes. At Mitzvahs and teen parties, party dancers, MCs and hype people run the games, teach the moves and keep every age on the floor.
Can we book lighting or a photo booth without a DJ?
Yes. Every enhancement, from uplighting and the LED wall to photo booths, cold sparks and LED dance boxes, can be booked on its own.
Corporate, AV & streaming
Do you provide microphones?
Yes, both handheld and lavalier (lapel) mics. For speeches we usually recommend handhelds: the mic sits close to the speaker’s mouth, so it picks up more voice and less room noise, with less risk of feedback or clothing rustle. Lavs are great for presenters who need their hands free.
Can you live stream our event?
Yes.
Tell me about your LED wall.
The LED wall is outdoor-rated with a 1.9mm pixel pitch, so it stays sharp even when your guests are up close, indoors or out. It’s sized to your room, and a 3x8 LED column can fill a truss totem from floor to top.
Do you have staging?
Yes. White staging lit from underneath with uplights glows as an LED stage at your event. Black staging is available too.
Schools & proms
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. We accept purchase orders and provide a W-9. We work with CMS, Union County, Lincoln County and Gaston County schools.
Is everything school-appropriate?
Yes. Clean edits only, and your DJ reads the room so students and chaperones both have a great time.
Effects & venues
Are cold sparks and fog allowed at every venue?
Not always. Some venues limit sparks, haze or fog. We check your venue’s rules ahead of time and suggest great alternatives, like lighting, the LED wall or a custom monogram, if an effect isn’t allowed.
What is Cool Burst?
Cool Burst is a handheld CO2 effect: a crew member wears the tank and fires blasts of cold CO2 over your dance floor on cue. It’s different from CO2 geyser jets, which fire from the floor.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We have a business license, and we carry liability insurance ($1,000,000 each occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate). We can send a certificate of insurance to your venue on request.
Service area
Where do you travel?
We’re based in Matthews and focus on events within about an hour of our office, but we travel anywhere. Recent crews have worked Spartanburg, Sumter, Savannah, Asheville and West Virginia.
