A Bat Mitzvah with ATG
A packed dance floor, a parent dance under pink uplighting that switches to green with the music, and white pipe and drape that turns the room into a party space. This is the kind of event we build with families.
From empty room to party
Watch your room go from tables and bare walls to a lit-up dance floor. Real footage from one ATG Bat Mitzvah: the LED wall goes up, gets wired, lights up, and the party starts.
Clean music at every event
Clean music at every event, so you never worry about what’s coming next. Your DJ screens every request with your family and your guests in mind.
The Mitzvah Showcase
Charlotte’s Bar and Bat Mitzvah showcase. You and your kids walk into a real, produced mitzvah: live DJ and MC, a lit dance floor, photo booths, and the vendors you need, all in one free afternoon at the Levine JCC’s Lerner Hall in Charlotte. RSVP to save your spot.
Your MC and DJ
ATG has one of the most talented and versatile teams in the Carolinas, which makes it easy to match the perfect MC to your style, energy and crowd. A few weeks before the event you meet your MC to go over the plan for your event: entrances, the hora, candle lighting, speeches and the moments in between.

Party motivators (party dancers)
High-energy party motivators, also known as party dancers, light up your dance floor, get your guests moving and keep the energy going from start to finish. They bring the kids onto the floor and the adults right behind them.
Lighting that changes the room
Lighting is what takes your Mitzvah from fun to an event your guests remember. Moving heads pump energy onto the dance floor and double as spotlights for entrances, candle lighting and the hora. Uplighting bathes the room in your theme colors, a custom monogram puts your child's name on the wall or floor, and lasers or a black light experience give your guests a true nightclub feel.
“Brian was absolutely wonderful - he was super easy to work with and the lighting was gorgeous for my daughter's bat mitzvah…”
“Jack from ATG was our DJ and MC for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. It was an amazing party and they kept the crowd up on their feet!… I highly recommend ATG.”
Screens, stages and dance floors
An LED video wall for live crowd shots, montages and music videos. An LED stage and LED dance boxes that light up with every step your guests take. Full-size LED dance boxes that lift dancers above the crowd. Custom motion graphics can be built for any theme, from sports to neon to glam.
Big moments
Indoor cold sparks for the grand entrance, a Cool Burst Blast at the peak of the party, special guest performers like the Neon Knight, Glass Man and Gizmo, glow limbo and the Bubble Wrap Experience. See every option on our Enhancements page.
Photo booths
A 360 booth, a Mirror Booth, a Classic Booth with instant prints, a Social Booth that roams the party, an AI Booth, or the full Signature Photo Experience with a custom backdrop and styled walls. Every guest leaves with something to share.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah party cost?
The entertainment part depends on the MC and DJ package, the number of dancers and which lighting, screens and photo booths you add. Every ATG event includes setup, breakdown, planning and travel. Request info and we will build options for your date.
Is there dancing at a Bar Mitzvah?
Yes, a lot. The hora is the traditional circle dance where the Bar or Bat Mitzvah, and often the parents, are lifted in chairs. After that, the party usually turns into a full dance party, and your MC and dancers keep kids and adults on the floor.
What are the dances at a Bar Mitzvah called?
The best known is the hora, a circle dance done to "Hava Nagila," with the chair lift. Many families also include a parent dance and group dances led by the MC and party motivators.
What does a Mitzvah MC do?
The MC runs the timeline: guest entrances, the hora, candle lighting, blessings and speeches, games and the dance floor. Your MC meets with you before the event to plan every moment and works with your venue, caterer and photographer on the day.
Do you provide party dancers?
Yes. Our party motivators (some families call them party dancers) and hype people work with the MC to keep your kids and adult guests dancing from start to finish.
How far ahead should we book?
You know your child's date, so reserve early. Mitzvah families usually book 1 to 3 years out, and we are already booking 2 to 3 years ahead. Saturdays go first. Last-minute dates sometimes work too, so it is always worth asking.
