How ATG Entertainment collects, uses and protects your information. Effective October 2026.
Who we are
ATG Entertainment, LLC (“ATG,” “we,” “us”) provides DJs, MCs, lighting, AV production and photo booths for events in the Charlotte area. This policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect through atgdj.com and when you work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Quote and contact forms. When you request info or a quote, we collect your name, email, phone number and event details such as the date, event type, venue, guest count and anything you tell us about your plans.
- Calls, texts and emails. When you contact us, we keep what you send us so we can answer and plan your event.
- Client planning portal. If you book with us, you get a login to our online planning portal. There you share event details, your timeline, song requests and contacts for your event, and you can see your agreement and payments.
- Job applications. If you apply to join our team, we collect the details and any video answers you submit.
- Photo booths. If you use one of our photo booths at an event, the email address or phone number you enter is used to send you your photos.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours collects some information automatically when you visit: your browser and device type, IP address, the pages you view, how you scroll and click, how you got to our site and how long you stay. We use cookies and similar technologies to do this. See “Cookies and analytics” below.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions and send you availability, options and quotes
- To plan and run your event, including sharing details with the ATG team members working it
- To send agreements, invoices, reminders and planning updates
- To send occasional news and offers by email or text, if you have agreed to receive them
- To understand how people use our site and make it better
- To protect our business and follow the law
Tools and service providers we use
We use trusted companies to run parts of our business. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:
- Our client management system (BeatPilot) hosts our quote form and booking calendar, stores your contact and event details, and sends our emails and text messages.
- HubSpot runs on our website to understand visits and manage contacts, email and meeting scheduling. It uses cookies to recognize returning visitors.
- Microsoft Clarity shows us how visitors use our site, through heatmaps and session replays of clicks, scrolls and page views. Clarity uses cookies. Microsoft’s use of this data is described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Our client planning portal (DJ Event Planner, at atgvip.com) stores booked clients’ event plans, agreements and payments.
- Video players. Videos on our site play through Vimeo and YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode). Job application videos use VideoAsk. These services may set their own cookies when you play a video.
- Other tools. Our photo booth backdrop picker, our email and file storage, and a form or chat assistant on some pages, which sends your messages to our team and may use an AI service to draft replies.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them to keep the site working, to measure visits with Microsoft Clarity and HubSpot, and to remember returning visitors. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features, like embedded videos, may not.
Emails and text messages
We send emails and texts about your inquiry or event, and, if you agree, occasional news and offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop texts, reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help.
- To stop marketing emails, click “unsubscribe” in any email.

Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still contact you about an event you have booked.
We do not share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, with the ATG team members and partners working your event (for example, your venue or planner, when you ask us to coordinate with them), or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and event records as long as we need them to serve you, plan future events and keep business, tax and legal records, which is usually a few years. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will unless we have to keep it by law.
How we protect it
Our site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we limit access to your information to the people and services who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children and teens
Many of our events are for teens, but our website and forms are meant for parents, planners and adults booking events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop receiving marketing messages. Just contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Other websites
Our site links to other websites, such as venues, partners and social media. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date.
