Bar & Bat Mitzvah DJ and Production at Temple Beth El, Charlotte
Temple Beth El holds a special place in ATG's Mitzvah story. We've turned the temple's social hall into everything from a sports arena to a New York City-themed event, with the DJ, MC and dancers who keep 13-year-olds and grandparents on the same dance floor.

Load-in and setup notes
For planners and venue coordinators.
- Our crews have loaded in through both the back door and the front door. We pick the best one with the temple's events office once your date is set, based on what else is happening in the building.
- Power outlets are spread around the room, so we plan cable runs from several walls for a clean setup.
- We ask for a cleared setup area of at least 18' x 6' near power.
- Cold sparks, haze, CO2 and low fog aren't allowed at the temple right now, so every big moment we design here uses lighting, video and LED effects instead.

Do you plan the whole Bar or Bat Mitzvah?
We plan the entertainment side with you: the timeline, the MC script, the Hora and candle lighting, the music, lighting and effects. We aren't a full-service Mitzvah planner, and we work side by side with your planner and the temple's events office.
Can we have cold sparks or a fog effect at Temple Beth El?
The temple doesn't allow cold sparks or haze right now, so your big moments come from lighting, the LED wall, a custom monogram, LED dance boxes instead.
Can you do the kids' party and the adults' dinner in the same room?
Yes. Lighting scenes shift from dinner to dance floor, and the MC and dancers run the games, Hora and candle lighting on a timeline you approve.
We already have a DJ. Can we still add lighting or a photo booth?
Yes. You can book any of our enhancements, from uplighting and the LED wall to photo booths and LED dance boxes, on their own, without an ATG DJ.
Is the music clean?
Always. We play clean edits at every event we do.
How early should we book?
Families usually reserve their Mitzvah entertainment one to three years ahead. Temple Beth El dates go early, so the sooner we hear from you, the more options you'll have.
