Bar & Bat Mitzvah DJ and Production at Lenny Boy Brewing Co., Charlotte
At Griffith Hall, 100 kids and their parents get a wide-open floor, with room for a full LED stage, video columns and a photo booth without crowding the dance floor. The private event hall beside Lenny Boy's taproom in LoSo has nearly 6,000 square feet and has become one of our favorite rooms for a big, high-energy Mitzvah.
ATG at Lenny Boy Brewing
- Bar Mitzvah celebrations here for mid-size to large groups.
- Two of our biggest Mitzvah productions outside Temple Beth El: a 24' LED dance stage, LED video columns with custom content, moving heads, uplighting, two party dancers, a social booth and live photo-booth photos on the screens.
- Themes so far include baseball, soccer, and a stadium-for-the-kids, BBQ-for-the-adults split. The room takes a strong custom-content look well.

Setups that work in this room
DJ & MC with party dancers and hype people
The kids' set is the main event in a room this big, and the dancers keep the floor packed. Clean music start to finish.
LED dance stage
Up to 24' wide for the Hora, candle lighting and the grand entrance, lit from underneath so it glows in your theme color.
LED video columns or the LED wall
Custom motion content like a stadium scoreboard or the honoree's logo, the montage at dinner and live photo-booth photos later in the event.
Uplighting and moving heads
Color along the long walls, with moving heads on truss totems for the dance set.
Kids' games and effects
Social or 360 booth
Placed near the bar end of the hall so the line never crosses the dance floor.
Already have a DJ? You can still book lighting, LED walls, photo booths and effects on their own.
